Senior Data Scientist

Candidates should have very strong experience with conceptualizing and designing complex analytic models and algorithms, and possess knowledge of and experience with traditional and contemporary data mining technologies, applied to both structured and unstructured data sets. Experience with handling and understanding very large property/casualty insurance data sets is required, with hands-on experience with claims data preferred.

You will be involved in new product design, continuous improvement of existing products and you will work in a project team environment with responsibility and accountability for assigned customers.

The qualified candidate will have:

• a Masters or Ph.D. degree in statistics, operations research or other quantitative analytical field
• at least ten years experience working with large property/casualty insurance data sets and analytic applications
• at least ten years experience and demonstrated proficiency with SAS software
• experience working with unstructured data
• outstanding teamwork skills, excellent communications skills and a passionate customer focus

Production Control Manager

We are currently seeking a Production Control Manager for our East Hartford, Connecticut office.

In this position, you will report directly to our Chief Technology Officer and be responsible for overseeing and directing the day-to-day operational and production control activities. You will also be responsible for maintaining an extremely high level of technology support for our customers. This position will have a liaison role with all areas of the Full Capture organization, including senior management; marketing and sales; analytics; and research and development.

Our ideal candidate has three or more years experience in a production control position or related job, experience working with customer facing web based applications, and experience with Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.). Desirable experience includes data integration activities within a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) model, or in an Application Service Provider (ASP) model, experience working in a highly distributed organization and partnership model, experience with business intelligence applications for accessing, analyzing, and presenting business information, and UNIX experience.
